Flow-coating equipment

The radiator to be varnished by pouring is placed on a grate placed in the bathtub. In the tub under the heater, there is a varnish diluted to a consistency suitable for pouring on. The varnish is pushed upwards by a special pump and poured over a bar over the radiator, from where it falls on the radiator and covers it. The excess flows into the bathtub and can be removed for the next cycle. After, the radiator should be set aside to drain.

Flow coating is particularly suitable for the processing of small workpieces, portable, also profiled, if there are enough of them. Heaters and shutters are typical elements suitable for this.

During watering, the pump turns off suddenly. What could be the reason for this?
Presumably, the flow-on varnish has become too thick due to solvent evaporation. The pump that supplies the varnish then turns off automatically.

Why is it necessary to constantly check the consistency of the varnish during flow coating?
Due to the large paint surface, a lot of solvent evaporates in the bathtub. A varnish too thick for pouring creates a worse surface. When it becomes too thick, the pump switches itself off automatically, to avoid overheating.
