Problems mounting the sliding door rails to the ceiling

Leveling the height of the room. If the ceiling in the room is higher than provided for in the door mounting kit, the upper rail can be suspended using special fittings. They consist of four parts – a ceiling flange that allows a stable fixation to the ceiling, connecting pipe and lower foot, to which the rail will be attached. The pipe can be shortened as much, that it is possible to hang it at a height of 12 do 45 cm. With uneven ceilings, placed at an unequal height, or with its slight slants, with the help of special fittings, you can place the ceiling rail at a constant height (Roland-System).

Roof slope alignment.
Often a lot of trouble is attached to the ceiling rails of the sliding door under the sloping roof. Thanks to the aligners shown here, which can be adapted to any roof inclination, their assembly becomes simple and safe. Evenly spaced every 60 cm, screw the upper elements to the ceiling, position them and attach the ceiling rail to them. As are the fittings for leveling the height of the room (on the left), the roof slope compensation system enables the installation of covers (Roland-System).
