Buildings of high category of human risk ZL I, ZL III and ZL V should have the fire resistance class "B", while high-rise buildings of the same categories of danger to people – fire resistance class "A".

Basic elements of high and high-rise buildings, according to their fire resistance class, should have at least the fire resistance class specified in the table

1)-if the partition is part of the main supporting structure, it should also meet the fire resistance criteria (for the sake of R.) according to the requirements contained in the column 2 for a given class of fire resistance of the building,
2) – fire resistance class applies to the inter-story strip with the connection to the ceiling,
3) – for the walls of the chute chambers, El 60, for chamber doors – He 30.

All elements of high-rise buildings and high-rise buildings should be fire-retardant, a façade claddings and their fasteners as well as thermal insulation of external walls, used at altitudes above 25 m from the ground level, should be made of non-flammable materials. In the high and high-rise building ZL V, the fire resistance class of internal walls separating independent living quarters should be at least El 60.

Building parts separated by vertical fire separation walls – from the foundation to the roof covering – they can be treated as separate buildings. The condition for the above is to take into account, according to which the walls of the fire separation should be extended at least 0.3 m outside the face of the exterior wall of the building, or along the entire height of the external wall, use a vertical strip made of non-flammable material with a width of at least 2 m and fire resistance class El 60.
